Brightlands SSC

Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen is a community of entrepreneurs, researchers and students who jointly develop new smart digital services to improve the quality of life. In close collaboration with the responsible BSSC project managers I act as interim (strategic) communication advisor for two European subsidy (lead) projects, namely Interreg North West Europe project Digital Deconstruction and Interreg Euregio Meuse-Rhein project QRM4.0

Brighlands Greenport Venlo

At Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, entrepreneurs, scientists and students work together on research in the fields of healthy and safe food, future farming and the bio-circular economy. They are gaining more insight into the impact of nutrition on health and perceptions of nutrition. The campus is also working on new methods for breeding and growing that lead to a higher nutritional value and yield, and on sustainable production methods geared towards creating a circular economy. This is how we make safe and healthy nutrition available for everyone.

For Lianne Pelzer, love of Nino and dear mom of Dana and Dean, a compact website has been created for her passion for essential oils. Nino has set up the template in accordance with her wishes. 50PLUS States party Limburg

In view of the Provincial Council elections in March 2019, we were approached by the chairman of the Parliament faction 50PLUS Limburg to write a communication plan and then create a new website. After approval of the plan, we got into writing the texts and set up the website. The new site has a fresh look, recognizable 50PLUS house style elements and audience-friendly content.

The transformation of Social Affairs Maastricht Heuvelland is in full swing. They have started with the Future Vision 'From dream to reality' and everyone has been able to contribute to the development of the necessary building blocks for the transformation.

Started last week on a new, challenging job ... The municipality of Eijsden-Margraten was looking for an interim communication professional who has strategic, policy and implementation skills. Someone who listens to what is going on within the municipality, who thinks along, advises and can translate the issues to the managers, employees and the residents of Eijsden-Margraten. Someone who is strong in communication both internally and externally. Don't miss all those requirements, but it appealed to me.

Mijnwater B.V. Heerlen

Smart Communication was working for Mijnwater B.V. for more than 24 hours a week. We are responsible for the total communication (online and offline) of the company (which has been independent since December 2013). As a communication consultant responsible for the spokesperson, strategy and newsletter. The online marketer is responsible for the website and social media. We are increasingly putting the company on the commercial and international map.

Interreg V-A Euregio Maas-Rijn

Marlie started in November 2016 as an interim communication advisor at Bureau Euregio Maas-Rijn in the Provincial House in Maastricht for communication agency Facet& in Voerendaal. On her plate: Setting up a new website for the Interreg programme, kick-off communication strategy 2017 - 2020, production communication guide for the regional antennas of EMR. She will remain until EMR can hire a communications consultant on a permanent basis.

Provincie Limburg, Maastricht

In 2012, Marlie wrote texts for the Buitenring Parkstad Limburg newsletter, commissioned by the design agency Mana&CO from Heerlen. The initiator is the Province of Limburg, which is working closely with Parkstad Limburg, the Parkstad municipalities of Brunssum, Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, Nuth and Onderbanken and the municipality of Schinnen on this project..

Gemeente Heerlen

Marlie has worked as a consultant for the municipality of Heerlen in various communication processes. From 2007 to 2011 responsible for projects such as Royal Awards 2008, support at the communication department regarding Children's College and support Maankwartier and Mijnwaterproject.

Gemeente Eijsden-Margraten

Extensive project. From gathering information, reading historical work, consulting historians and writing more than 20 articles about the cultural heritage of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. The book Blossom of the South/Proud of our Cultural Heritage was published at the end of 2013.

Parkstad Limburg, Heerlen

Parkstad Limburg needed an interim communication advisor for about 16 hours a week. In addition to regular matters, such as maintaining the website, digital newsletter and the like, Marlie was also a communication advisor for projects within the Regional Programme.

Chemelot, Geleen

From 2011 to 2015, Marlie was a copywriter and member of the editorial team of Chemelot Newsletter, a monthly digital publication of Chemelot/Geleen. A great assignment with many interviews with companies on Chemelot. Marlie has gotten to know the chemical company well and has seen a bit of the turnaround from Chemelot Campus to Brightlands. In September 2015 it was decided not to publish the newsletter anymore.

We have made a targeted website for Marca from Your Life Coaching. Marca de Greef's target group is the highly educated person who has reached a turning point in his or her life, who is looking for balance in body and mind and who has to realize that there must be a dynamic between the two. So that they can experience leadership again from their own strength. The website fits her philosophy and lifestyle exactly.

Let's get married, Antoinette Stille

Create a stylish website that not only looks beautiful, but also informs about the ceremony and locations and gives tips on when to capture the wedding day. Smart Communication is responsible for the texts and the style. We ensured the correct implementation and set it up in such a way that it can be found quickly online. We implemented the look & feel of her company in the website and social media.

Raakk Adviseurs

We came up with a new company name for our own accountancy firm and adapted the website texts. The new company name RAAKK Adviseurs stands! The name RAAKK is a conscious choice, because in their own region their administrative, financial and tax services to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and private individuals are Accurate. The double K in RAAKK stands for Quality and Cost Saving.

Business Succes Institute, Roden

Business Success Institute helps SME Netherlands with successful entrepreneurship. The people at B-SI are experts in business administration and entrepreneurs with a rich history in for-profit and non-profit institutions. Marlie wrote the lyrics. The website was completed in September 2013.

De Merkboer, Geleen

Our client Roger Haane van de Merkboer was looking for a writer and internet developer/web designer/hoster for his client for two new websites. At Smart Communication he found everything in one. The first website was delivered for the customer in 2015. The second in April 2016. For both sites, substantive information was turned into 'webproof' content. It had to be clear, business-like, texts that could be clearly implemented in two new templates.

Brood van Koos

Texts written for the new website of Brood van Koos (Koos van Eijndhoven) in 2012. The baker bakes delicious sourdough bread in an authentic, traditional way and has shops in Houthem, Valkenburg aan de Geul and Maastricht. Pure bread from Koos… you can't get enough of that!

ZOwonen, Sittard

Interim communication advisor replacing the senior communication advisor in 2011/2012 and in 2016 for a real estate project (TRECO Home). On call for other communication issues. In 2016, Marlie was also responsible for the publications Woonprikkels (tenants' magazine) as a magazine manager/editor.

Artbook

A beautiful, extensive writing assignment for Marlie, with the emphasis on the paintings of a well-known priest/painter (1927 - 1988). The book is commissioned as a legacy. Since 2016.
